SEL School Leader BrochureSEL School Leader Brochure:

This 6-panel brochure presents 7 compelling reasons why school leaders across Illinois are supporting the implementation of social and emotional learning (SEL) in their schools. The brochure offers an awareness presentation entitled SEL: AN ESSENTIAL FOUNDATION FOR STUDENT SUCCESS IN SCHOOL, WORK AND LIFE. It is part of a statewide professional development initiative to prepare school staff to implement SEL standards. The presentation details the benefits of SEL education for both students and school staff and why it was mandated for all Illinois schools by the Illinois Children's Mental Health Act of 2003. School leaders can request a presentation for their school by contacting Linda Delimata, SEL Training Coordinator at 815-652-2054, x224 or email ldelimata@leeogle.org.
